Queensland has a sub tropical to tropical climate with very mild to warm temperatures all year round. In the summer time the average maximum temperature is usually around 29 degrees C in Brisbane and as high as 32 degrees C in Cairns and Tropical North Queensland. Minimum temperatures in summer are generally around 20 degrees C in Brisbane and 23 degrees C in Tropical North Queensland. In winter the maximum temperature in Brisbane is around 20 degrees C whilst up in Cairns it is still around 25 degrees C. Minimum temperatures in winter can be as low as 9 degrees in Brisbane and 17 degrees in Cairns.

Whether it be adrenalin pumping action and adventure, experiencing traditional bush tucker and culture, relaxing on the beautiful beaches or swimming with the thousands of varieties of fish on the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland has it all.
